Parenting a child represents a serious undertaking that can become a wonderful and breathtaking experience! Tho there may be challenges at times, when you become centered with a Christian mindset, authentic with love compassion and commitment, the results of the experience can bring you so much joy!
I never set out to become her bestie. I brought what molded me and it was definitely a bit of tuff love! I’m a bit of a realist and I never like to sugarcoat shit. The world can get ugly at times. Challenges get real at times. At the earliest of times I reminded her… you will become greatly disappointed with individuals you feel close to at times.
Stay focused on being the best version of a person that others will enjoy and want to be in your company. One by being respectful, humble, honest, and authentic. Make a commitment to education it will serve you very well in your career, be it institutional education or self-indulging education driven by your curiosity and/or passion – but keep educating yourself.
Today it pays off as she receives her Executive Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from THE Ohio State University – Fisher College of Business. We all made the commitment to put in the work to achieve better outcomes! Lifelong #teamwork makes the #dream work! Yep, I’m a bit teary-eyed today but a most proud Papa!
