Former Satellite and terrestrial radio Talker Rob Redding celebrates decade and 2000th episode this week dominating Black news online with his podcast “Redding News Review Unrestricted.” The show reaches 30 states comes off his award-winning web site ReddingNewsReview.com
“Some may have written me off when I left legacy radio, kept writing books and formally went back to school and got my MFA from Pratt Institute and a Masters in Communication from Marshall University but I have proved them all wrong,” said Redding. Redding, who is also a visual artist and teaches in the Department of Communication, Media and Arts at Seton Hall University, has been called the “Master of Commentary and Canvas” in a cover story by Consciousness Magazine in June of last year. His books “Smeared,” “Africa” and “Unquotable” were all No. 1 on Amazon last year. In total, He has written 15 bestsellers with nine of them reaching No.1. He was named one of the “100 Most Important Talk Hosts in America” by Talkers Magazine before his stints at SiriusXM and numerous radio outlets over the last 30 years. “My legacy is about making my daughter Rachel Redding proud while continuing to navigate a news media that seems to be dying,” he said. “Redding News Review will not stop at three consecutive black ‘Black Web Awards’ but will grow and expand its dominance over the next year.” |
