Indy Radio Alums and Fans on Facebook reports, an Indianapolis woman (Glenda West) is suing Radio One, claiming their Rickey Smiley morning show heard on WTLC-FM aired a song she wrote without obtaining her permission. The woman claims she heard the song “Too Too High” on the station several times. The Rickey Smiley show is based in Atlanta and airs on over 60 stations, including WTLC. The complainant is seeking $12,000, but so far has not provided proof of ownership of “Too Too High”. Radio One has not yet responded.
