Prayers up for Peabo | Two-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and balladeer, Peabo Bryson – the voice behind the Oscar-winning Disney songs “Beauty and the Beast” and “A Whole New World” – has suffered a stroke and is currently under medical care. At this time, the family requests privacy as they navigate this deeply personal moment together. The thoughts, prayers and love of friends and fans are welcomed and deeply appreciated.”
Peabo Bryson worked at Atlanta’s Kiss 104.1 in a rotation of power talent. First hired was Jean Carne and later added was Isaac Hayes, Gladys Knight and Bubba all in the late 80s early 90s when Program Director, Harry Lyles hired them all to do the Quietstorm. When that local powerful talent hit the air, Kiss 104.1 took off.

We collectively send out our thoughts to the Bryson family and close friends.
