The National Association of Gospel Radio (NAGR) wishes to inform you that we are united in prayer for the speedy recovery of our own, Vice President of Government and Faith-Based Relations, Mr. Carl Davis, following a recent medical episode.
We are encouraged to share that Mr. Davis is currently undergoing physical therapy and is making tremendous progress. His strength and determination continue to inspire us all.
Vice President Davis is a cherished member of the NAGR family. He has long been a devoted champion and advocate for Gospel music, a passion that led him to establish the Gospel Music Heritage Foundation, where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. A close friend and ally of the late Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Mr. Davis worked diligently alongside her to establish and formally recognize the month of September as Gospel Heritage Month.
On behalf of Board Chairman Mark Ballard, National President and CEO Charles Edward Johnson, and the entire constituency of the National Association of Gospel Radio, we lift Vice President Davis in prayer and declare optimal health and complete healing over his body. We love you, Vice President Davis, and stand with you in faith and support.
