If you have worked in or are employed in Black Radio, we will be adding your mini Biography to our Historical National Database. This Database will cover the historical background of Radio Broadcasters (Music, News, Sports, Consultants and Promoters) those who have served our community at large; which include HBCU stations as well. If you are or have been a College Professor and you had or have a background in broadcasting as well, you may also submit your information. The Database will consist of Biographies, Photos, Audio Recordings and Videos. The initial Kiosk Database will be housed at our National Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. The 2nd Historical Database will be housed in the City of Atlanta in Summer 2025. When visitors come to the facility, they will be able to find their favorite personality or themselves in the Database Application.
What we need from you as we manage this great venture is submission of information for us to share from the historical start date of Jack Cooper in 1929 to present day. We ask that submissions are received no later than November 1, 2024.
The submission email address is: nbrhof@onebox.com and for any inquiries.
Thanks from the National Board…
