The 2025 National Juneteenth Digital Opportunity Bible Study, hosted by Black Churches 4 Digital Equity (BC4DE), will focus on empowering Black communities with workforce development skills for an AI-driven job market. This Juneteenth Digital Opportunity Bible Study is a celebration of legacy, innovation, and empowerment!
Join us as we remember, reflect, and rejoice — honoring our history as inventors, creators, and visionaries, while equipping ourselves with the tools and training to thrive in tomorrow’s tech landscape. Through hands-on learning and sacred celebration, together we will explore how workforce development skills can be harnessed to uplift our communities and expand what’s possible.
Attendees will be exposed to training and resources that enhance digital literacy, expand access to technology, and prepare participants for the future of work through hands-on training, workshops, and strategic partnerships. Attendees will also learn about local digital opportunity initiatives and will learn how to plug in and partner to sustain long-term digital opportunity efforts. They will hear leadership speeches, including an inspiring keynote address from national faith leader Rev. Traci Blackmon- who is a pastor, teacher, preacher and public theologian.
