Cumulus Media launches Classic Hip Hop and R&B “The Vibe” on WXFX-HD3 (95.1) in Montgomery, AL, bringing a nostalgic sound to the River Region. The new station officially hit the airwaves on Monday, May 19, replacing a simulcast of News/Talk WLWI-AM. The Vibe features a lineup of artists such as The Notorious B.I.G., Aaliyah, 2Pac, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, Salt-N-Pepa, and Sir Mix-A-Lot, aiming to deliver a “blast from the past” for Gen Xers and Millennials.
