At the center of the story is Dr. Malcolm Marcus-Yezazi, a Black geneticist who uncovers an ancient truth: all life began in Africa, and the descendants of the Original Family carry within them the code to undo centuries of oppression.
Blending speculative fiction with cultural memory, spiritual urgency, and historical imagination, the book asks a provocative question: is it an Afro-futuristic fantasy, or is it a warning? In that tension, the story explores identity, power, survival, and liberation.
The release also marks a major milestone for author Mark Gunn, a veteran award-winning radio personality celebrating his 48th year in media with this release.
