WKXI-FM (Kixie 107) in Jackson, MS welcomes back longtime air personality Lady Vee, who returns to the station’s lineup after a brief retirement. Beginning this week, listeners can once again hear Lady Vee weekdays starting at 9am as she resumes her role on the station.
Known throughout Mississippi and the Mid-South for her engaging personality and decades of broadcasting experience, Lady Vee’s return strengthens Kixie 107’s commitment to local programming and established air talent.
“We are absolutely ecstatic to welcome Lady Vee back home to Kixie 107,” said Stan Brandson, Operations Manager for Connoisseur Mississippi. “Our listeners have missed her incredible energy and vibrant voice. Kixie 107 just wasn’t the same without her.”
Lady Vee has built a distinguished career in radio and community service. Earlier this year, she was inducted into the Black Music Awards Hall of Fame, joining a group of gospel, blues and R&B figures honored for their contributions to music and broadcasting.
Her achievements also include recognition from the Mississippi State Capitol Legislature and designation as an Outstanding Citizen by the City of Jackson for her service and impact on the community.
