Veteran programmer Kenny Smoov, who served as VP of Urban Formats for Cumulus Media and Program Director of urban AC “92Q” WQQK Nashville, has exited the company. Smoov, a 21-year station veteran, also handled middays on “92Q” and previously held programming roles in Alexandria, VA, New Orleans, Greensboro, SC, and Myrtle Beach.
“This has been an incredible chapter of my life and career, and I’m extremely proud of what we built, the people I’ve had the opportunity to work with, and the relationships I’ve developed both in Nashville and nationally over the past two decades,” said Smoov. “But I’m also excited about what comes next. I still have a lot of ideas, energy and great work ahead of me.”
