
From her Facebook account, Keisha says: Let me add this one thing before I disappear for the next 14 hrs, because it’s the truth whether folks want to say it out loud or not. Men will vote for Keisha Lance Bottoms and Tanya Miller and other women who will appear on the General Election ballot, plenty will.
But it’s gonna take real outreach, real conversations, and real presence. Because I’m here to tell you that some guys still don’t believe a woman should hold a position of authority like Governor, and that mindset doesn’t disappear just because the primary is over. That’s something campaigns have to face head‑on, not tiptoe around.
But if Democrats are serious about flipping that Governor’s Mansion, then everybody, men included, gotta deal with the moment we’re in, not the one we wish we had. The nominee is set.
