WVEE-FM (V-103) in Atlanta has announced a series of programming changes beginning May 11, highlighted by new talent additions and expanded roles across its weekday and weekend lineup.
Four-time Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Francesca Amiker will join “The Big Tigger Morning Show” as co-host, airing weekdays from 6-10am ET. Amiker most recently served as a host and correspondent for E! News and previously anchored morning news at Atlanta’s 11Alive, where she launched the “A-Scene” entertainment franchise.
In addition, DJ Sturgess has been elevated to host the Urban outlet’s night show, airing weeknights from 7-10pm, along with a Saturday shift. He previously worked as a producer on “Greg Street Afternoons.”
Veteran personality Frank Ski will return to the station as a weekend host, airing Sundays from noon-4pm, and will also contribute throughout the week. Ski previously spent decades at V-103, including a prominent run on the “Frank and Wanda in the Morning” show.
Reggie Rouse, Vice President of Programming and Brand Manager, said the updated lineup reinforces the station’s connection to Atlanta, citing the addition of Amiker, the return of Ski and the promotion of Sturgess as key moves.
