Carter Media is teaming up with Heart to Heart International for a 12-Hour Disaster Relief Drive aimed at supporting communities impacted by the recent tornadoes in St. Louis. The event takes place Friday, May 30 from 6am to 6pm at Deep Rooted Clothing, located at 1112 E. 47th Terrace (Cleaver II Boulevard and Troost Avenue) in Kansas City. The all-day initiative will collect monetary donations to fund hygiene kits for families affected by the devastating storms.
“St. Louis is my hometown,” said Deona Hustle, co-host of the Hustle & Shyne Morning Show. “When I saw the damage from the tornadoes, I realized how many people were impacted. I felt it was our responsibility to help those in need since St. Louis and Kansas City are neighbors. Let’s turn KC’s love into relief.”
Mike Carter, CEO and President of Carter Media, emphasized the company’s commitment to service: “Carter Media is committed to serving communities in need. We’re looking forward to partnering with a great organization like Heart to Heart International. We are confident that our listeners will support this great cause.” Listeners can learn more about the relief drive and how to contribute by visiting kprs.com, kprt.com, or rnb1069.com.
