Beasley Media Group has entered into a definitive asset purchase agreement to sell CHR WNKS-FM (KISS 95.1) in Charlotte, NC, and the Alternative KXTE-FM signal in Las Vegas to Educational Media Foundation (EMF), with both transactions expected to close in mid-October pending FCC approval.
As part of the Charlotte deal, Beasley will relocate its Maney and LauRen morning show from KISS 95.1 to sister station WKQC-FM (104.7), where the program will continue airing weekdays. In Las Vegas, the programming currently heard on KXTE-FM will move to KVGS-FM, allowing the station’s format and brand to continue following the sale.
