
NEW HAVEN, Conn. 94.3 WYBC, The Rhythm of the City, is proud to announce the promotion of Rasheem D. Dixon as the new host of the station’s legendary public affairs program, The Electric Drum, airing Sundays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Rasheem joined the WYBC family in 2018 and has become a familiar and respected voice on the air as host of The Saturday Jam, a role he will continue alongside his new responsibilities.
A graduate of Livingston College, Rasheem is an accomplished musician, vocalist, and dedicated community leader. Throughout the years, he has served with numerous organizations across the Greater New Haven area, earning the respect and admiration of listeners through his commitment to service, education, and the arts.
