Join us on Wednesday, June 18 at 7pm ET for Restoring Our Health – A Fireside Chat on Reproductive Justice & Healthcare. Three years ago this June, the US Supreme Court released the Dobbs decision which ended a women’s constitutional right to an abortion placing the lives of millions of women at risk.
In honor of Juneteenth, we’re inviting members across the nation to join us as we Reclaim, Restore, and Invest in the Black Community and the continued fight for Black liberation.
Tap into our movement to:
- Reclaim our history, document our stories,
- Restore our bodies & minds,
- Invest in ourselves, each other, and our communities.
The Restoring Our Health Fireside Chat is a virtual event featuring speakers from Color Of Change, Planned Parenthood, and SisterSong as they discuss the true cost Black Women and members of our LGBTQIA+ community bear when denied equitable access to healthcare.
Liberated Bodies is Color Of Change’s vision for a world where Black women’s bodies and minds are treated with dignity and compassion. Our collective trauma as a result of decades of neglect and negative interactions with medical professionals and healthcare institutions charged with our care – from experimentation on our genes; harmful chemicals intentionally added to our food, hair, and beauty products; punishment for our pregnancy and reproductive health choices; denial of services to transgender individuals, and the over-sexualization of Black Girls – competes with medical professionals’ oath to do no harm.
Register now to share your stories and take action with us as we liberate our bodies, our minds, and our voices.
