The official press release announces that CBS Radio’s WVEE V-103 wins the coveted prize in the Frank Ski Lottery which we hear was amongst a number of different suitors. Frank will be broadcasting from both WVEE, WAOK, and across the various CBS digital platforms existing now and being built in the future. For starters, you can hear Ski on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm and Sundays from 7pm to 11pm.
CBS Radio Atlanta Senior Vice President and Market Manager Rick Caffey says, ” We are happy to bring. Frank Ski back into the CBS RADIO family. With the continued growth of our off-air programming and robust content initiatives, we have an incredible opportunity to work with talent in new and unique ways, and reach audiences that expand beyond the local market,
Gary Bernstein, who crafted the deal for Frank with CBS says, ” It was very difficult deciding amongst the many opportunities presented to us. I thank Rick Caffey, Reggie Rouse, and the entire CBS team for going the extra mile in a time period where budgets are tight and creativity is typically non-existent. Rick and Reggie proved you can think out of the box and succeed when the upside for everyone is obvious. The winners in all of this will be the radio listeners of Atlanta who have missed Frank beyond comprehension”.
Frank Ski says, ” I am excited to be back on the radio in Atlanta. We are planning groundbreaking initiatives in Atlanta and I would have it no other way than to kick these off with my CBS RADIO family. I want to thank Rick Caffey, Reggie Rouse, Gary Bernstein, and many others for helping make this special opportunity come to fruition.
