iHeartMedia has gone urban in Louisville. The Fox is gone and is now Urban 93.1 The Beat. The Beat launched commercial free and the New York The Breakfast Club morning show will start June 13.
The Beat will be in direct competition with Alpha Media’s B 96.5 and Magic 101.3. iHeartMedia’s Michael Jordan, Regional SVP of Programming. “This will be Louisville’s new home for classic hip hop and R&B.” Earl Jones, Region President of iHeartMedia’s Kentucky Indiana Region said, “This is an exciting addition to the iHeartMedia Louisville portfolio.
