
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Philadelphia announced today that 105.3 WDAS FM and Power 99 FM will host a Digital Town Hall Meeting to promote HIV/AIDS Awareness and the upcoming June 27 - National HIV Testing Day on Monday, June 25, from 3-4:00 p.m. ET. The Digital Town Hall Meeting will be sponsored by New Jersey Women and AIDS Network (NJWAN), the only female specific AIDS service organization in New Jersey that provides comprehensive services to women and families infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
The Digital Town Hall Meeting will cover a variety of topics including: the impact of HIV on women; the importance of HIV testing; information for women living with HIV/AIDS to access quality care and treatment; how to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS in women and educating to reduce the risk of HIV. The panel of experts will include Monique Howard, Executive Director for New Jersey Women’s AIDS Network; Bridget Browner, PHD, University of Pennsylvania, and Jillian Baker-Lucas, Professor at LaSalle University, School of Public Health.
